'twas I, sir Ckat, who doth coin the term, "SpamMaster." But fer reals, come on, 99% of the Omnisphere threads have not been started by Eric Piercing.

But I totally understand, its like, shit economy, we gotta hype our product, whatever. Consider this a friendly bump, from somebody who doesn't work at kv331.

Let us know when there is a mac version. Then the rest of us can properly demo.

No worries. Unless I have to reply back to comments on SynthMaster 2.0, I am not "spam"ming it any more :)

It already came to a point where people are already talking about it and more importantly backing it up, so no more "spam"ming :D

BTW, who is Eric Piercing ???

Hi everyone, I started a new thread for listening tests:

So that we can compare side by side how SynthMaster compares to its competitors.

How about looking at the bugs while you are here, I've posted in 'bugs' but you've not responded about a problem I have found! Cheers!

Next week I'll be concentrating on the current bugs.

Maybe it's time to setup a preset contest who can get the fattest sound out of SM2 and win something, Bulent :) (and proof the "thin sounding" opinions wrong)

I think any perception of it sounding thin is just a consequence of the waveforms since that's the starting point for every sound and controls the spectral content. I don't know how much truth there is to it, but maybe you could add more "easy to find" analog-sampled waveforms (just labeled as saw 1, 2, square 1, 2, etc) that have a bassier warmer tone if this really is the case.

The filters sound very good (especially with the distortion stage), so I think this is a problem that could be fixed easily.

Tip for anyone wanting a less thin, warmer sound: pump up the pre-gain in the filter distortion. (actually after level-matching I think that's just an illusion caused by the waveforms sounding bassier when they're louder, nevermind!)

We'll have those, once we clear out the "beta" status

Song contests will be on the way as well
