Havent looked through the whole FR thread, but I would like it if for the resources if SM could follow links. It would be cool if I could just have a link to my alchemy directory that has a ton of sfz's in it and also be able to use them in SM without having to copy them
-Edit
Just realized copying to factory samples doesnt work either, maybe Im missing something about the sfz support

Just create a subfolder under FactorySamples, and copy the files there.ezelkow1 wrote:Havent looked through the whole FR thread, but I would like it if for the resources if SM could follow links. We can import multisamples into SFZ by just drag and drop. We should probably do the same for importing SFZs directly by drag and drop.ezelkow1 wrote:Ahh was just somethin screwy with the first sfz I tried, others worked. Either way I still think being able to follow directory links would be cool

It would be nice if SM remembered the GUI state when closing and reopening. It gets disorienting when you were just working on filter 2 and you reopen it and start editing filter 1 by accident, because that's what shows by default. Or if you were tweaking the delay and you reopen it and it's on the layer page.

This isn't a huge deal, I guess it sort of nitpicking
and sorry if someone already mentioned this:
When you pick additive instead of Basic for the waveform, and it goes to the screen with the 8 columns:
Say you changed some of the numbers in the columns for the frequency.
It would be kind of handy if you could double-click on the number in the frequency number field, and it would go back to it's default (1, 2,3..etc).
Normally you click the number, then go up to select the default value (1,2 or whatever it was) and then select it.
If you click the "Default" button and then "Reset to Defaults", that changes everything back to the default, not just those field(s).
Unless I am missing something. That also might be nice for other knobs/buttons in other areas of SM, if possible. Like a phase amount knob, or detune, etc.

This is already implemented, I meanasseca wrote:I would prefer xtrl-click instead of double-click, is kind of standard with plugins using ctrl-click to revert a value back to its default ...
ctrl-click resets value back to default
shift-click lets you edit values in x10 resolution

Yes, that works for the knobs, but as far as Examigan and I have tested, Ctrl-Click does not do anything for the Frequency-Number field of the Additive-Synth columns ...kv331 wrote:This is already implemented, I meanasseca wrote:I would prefer xtrl-click instead of double-click, is kind of standard with plugins using ctrl-click to revert a value back to its default ...

Actually I didn't try that yet in those fields (ctrl-click), but that's good to know it works for most other parts of SMasseca wrote:Yes, that works for the knobs, but as far as Examigan and I have tested, Ctrl-Click does not do anything for the Frequency-Number field of the Additive-Synth columns ...kv331 wrote:This is already implemented, I meanasseca wrote:I would prefer xtrl-click instead of double-click, is kind of standard with plugins using ctrl-click to revert a value back to its default ...

How exactly do they do it?PietW. wrote:Feature Requests?
Import Samples to create own Wavetables like PPG or Microwave.
If someone help me out on that, I will add drag-n-drop wavetable creation.
Do they import just a sample file that contains, let's say, 16 single cycles ?
