This is probably the most open and helpful forums around.
Go figure the mentality of some people.
Sorry about this Urs!

Isratrance.com seems to be hacked as well..

Post

Sorry to hear this Urs. Hopefully this didn't set you back too much.

In a way it's almost good the hack happened before you went live. This means the real launch of the site will be secure and ready (well, as ready as any site can be) for the internet hooligans. Still sucks humans do this.

Post

Really sad to hear this!
I'm looking forward to the new website though :)

Tried a bunch of automated hacking tests on the new website... nothing :)

Also, we found a way to exclude people who use common hacker requests ("dorks") from our webserver alltogether. They'll be directed to a site where they're asked to subscribe to a newsletter... will be fun to see if any of them really leave an email address...

Correct. Hence I have no need to attract every script kiddie in the world for a DDOS-attack ;)

However, I think we're going to be pretty safe from any random heinzi with a malicious attitude who searches baidu for sql injection dorks.

Hacked, kind of like this Apple store in Hamburg? Image

Post

Similar, yes. They modified our phpBB so that banned users would be activated again. Very similar to the HH Apple Store event :hihi:
