Shift v2 Echo Shift mode explained

For those who have asked, just exactly what does the Echo Shift button do in Shift v2, I've taken the opportunity to elaborate a little and post a couple of short audio demonstration files over at the blog.

(The confusion is at least partially my fault, because the Echo Shift section was missing from the original pdf documentation: sorry! If you're still using older versions of Shift, I do recommend updating.)

If there are any other features in Shift v2, or any other product, you think could do with clarifying, feel free to post a request, and I'll see what I can do to sort you out with a explanatory post.
