Right now I'm working on some new sample packs and those will be for Kontakt but I would LOVE to share those with Mu.Lab users as MultiSampla packs
Round Robin in MultiSampla in Mu.Lab 4 ?

That would be something.

Actually I plan to have some more "classical" stuff. I have a glockenspiel, I will make a Bayan (a Russian button accordion) and some other stuff.
Depending on my time and resources I'll try to make some drums, but not really soon. Will be a Pearl set from 80s (but we need to put new skins on it and fix some places).

Yes nice idea, it's on the wishlist, not specificly for multisampla but as a separate module so it can be used in many different kinds of patches.

thx for the answer and sorry for the latesorohanro wrote:Actually I plan to have some more "classical" stuff. I have a glockenspiel, I will make a Bayan (a Russian button accordion) and some other stuff.

it's kinda fun to have a random module that can randomize like, er, velocity or note start without have to change the midi note itself.mutools wrote:Yes nice idea, it's on the wishlist, not specificly for multisampla but as a separate module so it can be used in many different kinds of patches.

M4 will have a module where each input note will generate a random output modulation. Will certainly be very useful in many patches

OT but still modular... A "Rising/Falling Level to Event" module would be nice - taking either a control signal or an event signal (with the event input programmable as to what rising/falling value to track) and the output programmable as to how it relates to the input (as freely programmable as possible - event type and value(s)). Maybe that should be two modules (control; event), with the possibility of a third, tracking a (mono) audio input (RMS volume?, best-guess pitch?)...
I should really spend some time with the tools that are there already, to be honest. It's ages since I tried putting a synth patch together.

Jo, is there a chance that the random module can have a specific nominal values?
when I have 4 notes with each note has same velocity values is 110;
then I modify with random factor = 2, what I expect to happen is the note velocity will vary
to maybe: 111, 110, 108 and 111
but instead of that, what I get is [maybe]: 109, 108.6, 109.3 and 110.6
is there a way to avoid the "detail" point [the 0.x]?
this problem is come when i try to make a custom drum with shortcircuit.
its not a problem with multisampla coz I can layered it with specific 0.x velocity
but the multisampla is lack of multiout

I'm not sure what you want to do but note that M4 can generate a random modulation value for each incoming note so that random value can be used for modulating pitch, cutoff, etc...vinpizza wrote:Jo, is there a chance that the random module can have a specific nominal values?

What's wrong with the decimal point?to maybe: 111, 110, 108 and 111

Note that when sending a note with velocity 108.6 to a VST plugin, then velocity 109 is used, it's rounded to the nearest integer in the MIDI 0-127 range.
In M4 the multisampler has multiple outputs, and the MUX can have as many ins/outs as you wantthis problem is come when i try to make a custom drum with shortcircuit.

until then, I'll explore mulab module more and make a [hopefully] good music like a true Mu.Sician
thanks, Jo

Good news. Will this module also support this:mutools wrote:M4 will have a module where each input note will generate a random output modulation. Will certainly be very useful in many patches
- - random velocity relative (!) to note's velocity?
- random timing?
Thanks in advance.

Yes this is both possible in M4.Reincke wrote:Good news. Will this module also support this:mutools wrote:M4 will have a module where each input note will generate a random output modulation. Will certainly be very useful in many patches
