help no display

My receptor has lost its display,everything else seems to function,backlite is lit but nothing on display,tried the 3 fast clicks on power to do reset,anyone got any other suggestions,thanks in advance

try unplugging any video monitors, mice, or other USB devices. This has happened to me occasionally, generally when I have a monitor plugged into the vga output. The receptor functionality is fine but no text on the led screen. It has always gone away when I restart without the peripherals plugged in.

Try doing a quick triple click of the power when this happens. It should re-register the front panel. Let me know if that works.

thanks gary,think ive developed hard skin on my finger from trying the 3 quick clicks,its not something thats intermittent its permanently blank,starting to give up hope,i am a computer engineer but dont want to go too far into it if i can help it
