She's dangerous though. Here's a pic with her guitar wizzard. http://www.flickr.com/photos/9201806@N08/1796066198/

You've been warned! :P

I haven't met a woman that isn't...

User-Friendliness + Aesthetic Beauty, but the former being more important that the latter. Yet, ACE is cool looking and easy to use. I'm sure you'll find a way to bring that same good looks, good sound, and ease with DIVA. Dark is good, but only if there is also light. :-).

:-).

Accents!!

I wouldn't dare critique the sound, but my eyes have seen the years and the slow parade of fears without crying.

Urs, after looking at this pic I don't think I'll be able to sleep without a weapon.

You must not be American! :hihi:

That's our specialty: Taking sh*t, and f*cking it up-if you and I were sitting around in a pub/bar somewhere (that'd be a blast), I could tell you stories...

We Americans love to take a conventional idea, and turn it on it's ass. Normality be damned. So someone elses broken parts could very well become my playground (and basis) for a different/'unique' 'sound'.

Consider the great Edward Van Halen: It's arguable that his whole career was based on: "F you, I'll do it my way" (Frank Sinatra, anyone?) and the axiom that Necessity is the Mother of Invention.

Did you know that the guitar that Eddie used on 'Eruption' had a broken pick-up coil?

And how about Trent Reznor? There's a guy that could never leave his sh*t alone.

I could go on and on, Urs.

Is Diva American? I think she's a Euro Starlet. More sequins!

This is what feedback from VCA into filter does to deep basses:

(CAUTION... turn your subwoofers down!)

This is one fat Diva!
The lowest notes hold very well, fat and defined at the same time. Sounds great Urs!

This sounds like the kind of bass I try to patch but never really get  I agree, it's like the sub stuff is consistent while the upper stuff that sounds driven has some quicksilvery fluxations. I'm assuming this is the nature of the filter being expressed, and ... sounds great!

YES, brighter, not necessarily lighter. CONTRAST. Features need to POP OUT!

If you globally lighten it will not help. It will just be all grayish . . . or the extreme . . . all washed out. It's OK to have a really dark GUI, but in that case (IMHO) the darkness needs to be offset with lightness. If they buttons and knobs and logo and such blend into the background it's %^*.. It's all about contrast.
All dark=NO GOOD. All light=NO GOOD. All anything is NO GOOD.

Ah, but you can really see that patch of white/gray hairs on a black head of hair, right?
