I feel this statement is even more true than with Zebra (in a similar Dinosaur crossgrade action). :)

Is there a story behind that post? :hihi:

Thanks.......Sure, here you go:

It's just the Panes folder............I'd back up the old one just in case........ :)

Done, see above.........sorry I lost track of this thread. Thanks to everyone for the kind words but all I did was hit the colorize button a few times....... :hihi:

I just personally find red to be a bit harsh on my eyes for long periods so the grey works better for me. All credit goes to to whoever created the original GUI......... :hail:

Simply amazing!

I tried out the beta with low expectations (another "perfect" subtractive analog emulation, yawn) and was blown away instantly. I wasn't expecting that. tried the juno modules and swore I was listening to my juno... flashback! it even bends and breaks when you push it in just the right way. I was trying to get a certain sound out of some other software synths (to remain unnamed) and it just never got to where I wanted it.. I tried the same with Diva and it took all of 2 minutes, punchy thick and perfect.

I can't say anything for the accuracy of all the modules or how perfect an emulation it is, but I can say it's already inspired some tracks which is really what matters right? everything sits right. it takes so little time tweaking when things sound good from the start.

I could do with the ability to modulate more of the controls, maybe add delay option on the LFOs, but even without those I'm already stoked. maybe an arpeggiator if I was feeling super greedy.

Is there plans to add a unison option? I know this would most likely be a cpu murderer, but it was an option on at least the juno... it plays all 8 voices at once, yikes!

The effects are not emulated from keyboards in the same way as the other modules, correct? That might be an interesting addition in the far far future. The juno chorus effects and I'm thinking something like the chorus, phase, ensemble section from the polysix.. but likely not worth the effort, just a thought. the effects sound fine as it is.

Are there plans to add additional emulations? I've barely scratched the surface on what's there now and already want more, more more :)

anyways thanks for indulging my rant, I just had to comment, and now back to playing around with the beta...

URS, any chance for this?i keep reading this synth is to kill CPU but so far i havent experienced that (i7 mbp). any chance to get unison mode for those of us who want to completely push our machines? i dont think anybody would mind using their DAWs freeze function :)

read in 'DIVA announced' thread - unison IS coming - possibly how you say, roland style..

I agree with this...and an arp would be a killer feature. Still, pretty awesome as is...the only thing that could make it better is to give a bundle price for Zebra and Diva together for those of us that are new to u-he goodness....

Unison is definitely coming! It is already there but there isn't a parameter on the GUI yet :)

Urs wrote: However, it's true tha Diva has more high end than e.g. the Rev1 MS20 or a Juno 60. That's because we don't need to filter noise and other brittle artifacts that happen in analogue circuits by crosstalk and leakage. The analogues would sound just like Diva, if they could. I don't perceive this as harsh though. But we'll happily add another round of oversampling should people complain about aliasing.
I would compare this to the palm muting guitar technique. It adds extra magic to the sound. Filtering the noises and the artifacts could be the key to that elusive analogue sound. Diva does seem to get a little too perfect in the higher register, while the originals sound a bit more human.

Just tried this out and absolutely adore it!! I read the 'small print' in the first post saying if you owned Ace you mightn't need this... but holy hell, no way!

Love this! Mixing and matching oscillators to filters is so interesting and suprising.

The only thing i'm left wanting is the panning of oscillators, but I can understand it's ommision if pure emulation is the goal.

Kudos, i'll be buying this as soon as my pocket allows me :)

The filter would have to be stereo than. The CPU load would go through the roof :hihi:
