But not yet! There is a good reason for that (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the reason here).

Maybe it will be a new Uhbik?
(I mean as a filter module)

But the sync of lfo 1&2 does't feel tight ! Please make it super tight.

Keep it coming,,,

All the best,,

I'll concur that the LFO seem a little more fiddly than those in Zebra. I'm not really sure what it is.

Does it have anything to do with the new Cytomic Filter that is coming? They have some similar high quality modules. This is just a random guess. Just makes me wonder if audio effect companies license/share their algos to other developers for use in their synth only instruments. I know it's happened in the past with other devs collaborating like that :?:

Hey all,
I stuck a thread up in the Music Cafe for people to post their music made with Diva as stuff gets lost so easily in these huge threads.

You can find it here:

Please post up your contributions and have a listen to mine.
Cheers.

I think Uhe and Cytomic are operating independently.

This is just me summarizing, hopefully in an accurate way, nothing else - DivaFX has been discussed a few times back in the thread. Briefly, Urs has said Zebra will pick up filters, Uhbiks may pick up FX. Diva's filters are amazing but the way they are contained in Diva's topology is part of the Diva concept, which Urs has consistently said will stick fairly close to the hardware. So stuff people want will show up, but won't be tagged as a DivaFX sort of thing.

Well, a filter plugin should be stereo, for starters ;)

While Andy and I operate independently, we certainly share a lot of knowledge and ideas on Skype or while having our annual beer event. Unfortunately we haven't had many beers since he moved back down under :-|

I think that we'll put some nice stuff in Zebra, maybe not 1:1 copies of Diva's algorithms but certainly some stunners :)

I do think that we have cracked that technology (yes it's old, but it's not viable for realtime without certain inventions we made), and we are definately gong to exploit it in many of our other products.

I keep thinking Urs is awesome, but there's at least one guy more behind the scene, isnt there? If so who and what is his name on KvR?

When you do presets for others, do you use delay/reverb in them? Personally i always have send effects for those and let the synth add chorus etc as they have more to do with the sound sculpting.
The presets i've made where intended for me and came up when trying it out and using it in songs. But since many seems to want presets i could share them.

It would appear as Howard is the main preset guy.

Clemens. cheppner. Chek the about page on our website :)

He implemented the technology behind Diva's oscillators and filters.

Howard provides for "analogue knowledge" and ears.

I did the fx and the user interface design.

I watched a video with someone tweaking a bass in Zebra.
I'm gonna go against the grain here but I would throw in a wavetable module in Diva.
Diva is already excellent and can't be beat at the price, just thought I'd share my opinion :)

Is there a combination of cut-off and key-tracking that will tune one of the filters to follow standard pitch?

50% (90.00) cut-off and 100% key-track is close but sounds out of tune for larger intervals.

EDIT: CutoffSlop to zero fixes it!

Filter tracking is likely to be improved tomorrow. Next public beta, I guess! ;)

duh! Been pulling my hair over that one. Forgot about cutoff slop!

Sorry yeah... we'll work out an automatic calibration process to get filters back in tune.

(our hardware synths don't track perfectly either over large intervals, but I think we can correct this in Diva without loosing authenticity)
