Edit: Try swapping Env1 for Gate in this example.

Gate is instant, the envelopes need a millisecond or two to develop.

Regarding the perceived differences in sound, I can just say that the only audible difference is Sallen-Key Rev2 (which now distorts a bit more realistically)

Everything else is just fine tuned parameter ranges and scales. Thus, tweaking parameters should bring any sound back to what it was.

The other thing is that occasional low end popping sound on note start, which wasn't desirable, and was also responsible for a perceived "fade in" of notes.

To me at high Resonance amount the multimode filter seems to sound different now but in a pleasant way IMO. My "acid" like presets seem to sound more "squelchy" now. The filter seems to sound clearer and less "muffled" now but i could be wrong.

Well, it's possible that some filters open up a bit more in Great/Divine settings.

The State Variable in particular had to be closed a bit in Draft and Fast to avoid excessive noise.

No complaints here, but cross-modulation has changed quite a bit too?

The range has changed, yes, but not necessarily the sound of it.

You're right

Edit: selecting analog1 alters the sine (looks squarish) - that's what was throwing me!

Popping in to say 'THANK YOU'.

DIVA smoother, some great presets and losing myself in lushness.

Peace and Merry Christmas :)

With the new beta out . . . any suggestions about the preset library?
I'm grateful for all who have designed and contributed, but I'm not sure which to keep . . . which are the latest versions and all. I did a search for Diva patches and found some folders on download sites. Diva is spreading her entitled wings everywhere!

The Diva Patch Lib should always contain the latest versions:

I am currently correcting my own presets and add a few new ones. I guess others are doing the same now.

Beta 467 Win XP SP3 Live 8.2.7

Noise on the 3 VCO bank seems to be at it's minumum at around 11 and not zero.

Going below 11 seems to add noise. So with noise level at zero you always get a little bleed of noise all the time.

hmmm... is noise modulation added in modifications page maybe?

Yep, that's the one. I was using one of Howard's presets as my template.

Sorry... as you were. :)
