Yeah... I tried toning them down, but I think we'll do something else. An asterisk or a circle with an M inside...?djanthonyw wrote:I see, yea. Maybe another symbol would be better, instead of something associated with a warning though, Urs?

i hope it has not been asked before but will the release version contain a 64 bit version? i'm only asking because with the 32 bit version i have problems with the drop down menues in cubase 6 (which is an already known issue from what i saw in the thread).
thanks and cheers

Toning them down just makes them look dirty... so yeah, something elseUrs wrote:Yeah... I tried toning them down, but I think we'll do something else. Yes, Urs confirmed that.Gosh wrote:i hope it has not been asked before but will the release version contain a 64 bit version? i'm only asking because with the 32 bit version i have problems with the drop down menues in cubase 6 (which is an already known issue from what i saw in the thread).

I assumed it was commen knowledge you get better plugin performance in Logicjumpercable wrote:Im getting more voices in Logic compared to ableton -
At 128 samples buffer on mbp 2.26 Core 2 Duo and 4gb Ram
In Ableton with AU I get max 4 voices on the Glass Disharmonica patch in the Poly folder.

First and foremost, I think the "modulated in the Modifications page" indicator simply has to *look good*. No warning symbols or initials necessary IMHO.Urs wrote:Yeah... I had thought of suggesting LEDcolour as a mod destination. Somehow I doubt that Urs would go for it?

Haha, great
BUT: be careful what you're doing. Some people consider FL Studio "non pro" because of .
From blinking LEDs to dancing anime figures it's not that far!

I don't have the original beta anymore, but the output of the ladder filter is quieter than the others in 472. I measure the following in Live:
Single saw oscillator played at C2, 3 VCO module, max volume (everything else at 0):
- ladder: -5.40
- ota: -3.4
- svf: -2.7
Adding additional oscillators makes the discrepancy greater.
Single saw oscillator played at C2, dual VCO module, max volume (everything else at 0):
- ladder: -6.24
- ota: -1.35
- svf: -0.49
Square oscillator played at C2, DCO module (everything else at 0):
- ladder: -5.05
- ota: -2.82
- svf: -2.40
All the filters were the 24dB versions, and the ADS envelopes were used for both.
Was this always the case?

Yes. I think it's related to the waveshaping. The transistor ladder has the strongest distortion and thus squeezed louder oscillators more than other filters.suthnear wrote:Was this always the case?
