It seems like Cubase can't cope with the reduction in parameter count that happened recently. Please delete the plugin blacklist file... and let me know if that does it...

I removed the blacklist file but Cubase keeps on generating it with Diva in it.

I also edited it while Cubase was running and removed the Diva section, but Cubase just adds it on the fly.

Where's your Vstplugins directory - maybe you have to move Diva.data in write-enabled territory...

Urs, could you also explain a bit more how you see the relation between Diva and Tyrell? In particular, I'm curious about how the Tyrell background did end up inside Diva?

(And don't forget to clean it up for release? At least it'll save you 410kb x the KVR horde on server bandwidth... )

Well... hmmm... there's not much left of TyrellN6 in Diva.

A long time ago Diva had started out as an attempt to model the compoennts of Juno and Jupiter synths. Then came that Tyrell project on Amazona.de, for which I could use the existing code. Shortly thereafter I hired Clemens who spent his first year at u-he re-implementing and optimising the oscillators, filters and envelopes in Diva. In that course, the parts that were used in Tyrell had been completely changed.

Diva was a moving target from the beginning. In the end she became way more than we ever expected.

Thanks for elaborating, she sure ended up a fine young lady! (But you should definitely remove the scar tissue before people will start gossip over the gender change that came along with the parts change. )

Hiring Clemens = pure genius. Just imagine competing against C-he!

I just installed the 477 Mac version. How do I install and access the presets? I can get Diva to open in Logic but there are no presets. Clicking on the bar on the top (where I would assume presets would be) asks for a registration code.

For now, the beta comes with only a few, that you have to copy manually (on a Mac) to either

Look in the other threads for more patches, or wait a bit longer.

I can't get 477 to show up as a VST in Cubase 6 (x64 Win7), anyone else experiencing the same problem? Or should I post this in the bug thread?

Installs just fine here - mac 10.7.2. even old patch folders remain available.

Installer worked fine, incl. different directory for Presets under Win7.
Registration also worked fine.

Gotta check some presets now
