Maybe you are speaking of this :
mutools wrote: The target module is always defined by the tracks.
This is done by drag-dropping a module (eg a rack) onto one of the track panels at the left side of the composer.
Untargetted tracks should not play anything.

When a filter is OFF, it bypasses the sound. Same for the RM.
That should explain what you're hearing.

When OFF a filter does not amplify the sound.
But maybe you have routed Osc 1 to the filter and to the amp, which gives a double signal which sounds louder.

MuSynth : ok, so when something is OFF, it bypasses the sound...

MuDrum : can you tell me how to unload something you have loaded in the Element 3 ?

Afaik, best way atm is to save the empty element first for future use in your user library...I guess that would be handy for the simple Element 1 and 2 as well, while you only have to save one (because they are identical)

Perhaps Jo will implement later a command to clear an element, but with user presets it works ok...

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays for who prefer that way :)
I'll be out for a while, no internet, so I make all the greetings now. All the best and hope we'll see each other and share music made with M4 :hihi:

Ok, back from an initial plunge into the multi-core sea.
Could do some very interesting experiments, and got a first prototype working.
Unfortunately it turned out that when tested on another system, it was not giving the same stable results, so that made clear it needs more R&D time.
But the good news is, we're a nice step closer. And i'm eager to complete this adventure :box:

To be continued after the M4 release.

The newest MuLab 4.0.79 is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/cedar

What's changed:

* Further finetuned graphics (rack slots, knob, ...). Thanks Calum!
* OSX: When doing Audio Setup, the PreferredAudioRecordingLatencyCompensation preference wasn't preserved.
* Windows: Launching MuLab by MuSession now properly works. E.g. drop a MuSession on the MuLab app icon now works.
* When audio files need to be resampled, and an existing resampled version already existed, MuLab asked to overwrite the file. Now the resampled file is overwritten automatically. (not the original of course)
* Drawing in a waveform now preserves the waveform's source file path and so you can still scroll to the previous/next waveform.
* When opening a MuSynth device, couldn't scroll thru waveforms until one was explicitly chosen. Similar when inserting a oscilator in a MuX. All fixed.
* MuX play/deep editors now have a button to show the deep/play editor i.e. the other editor.
* Oscillators now have the option to start at fixed start phase from 0 to 359 degrees. See Oscillator context menu -> Edit Properties.

Thanks! Who's Calum by the way? I noticed he/she is mentioned quite frequently in the change logs :)

Now you produced a graphic bug... 8)

Modules in the MUX (either in the deep or in the play editor) don't get greyed out, if processing is turned off...not good :hihi:

Thx very much for this...very usefull for harder attacks in unison sounds...

But atm I don't know how to translate the degree values...
For my understanding (e.g. a simple sine wave):
0 deg. = startpoint
90 deg. = first max of the wave
180 deg. = second zero crossing
270 deg. = minus max of the wave
359 deg. = short period before the wave ends...

Is that correct so far???
