Ok, I started using game prelauncher so I could shut everything down, except DAW and VSTis. http://www.gameprelauncher.com/eng/index.html

So I had Live 8 opened in gameprelauncher mode and I loaded the Diva VST and the first lead preset "albert hall mini" I played and the CPU hovered around 9%. Then duplicated it 16 times and the cpu went up to 63% but there was no glitching at all, it sounded splendid!

anyway..just geeking out. Riley

How about recording what it sounds like

Muliple instances with 1 voice each isnt realy a problem since DIVA gets multithreaded by the host then.
Tried the same patch you used in devine mode, switched on poly, and could hardly play 5 notes without crackling, 1 core at 60-70% max, cpu thotteling to idle speed in between. Instances i can play 27 simultaneously, with abit higher latency (20 ms), 90% cpu load on all cores, no glitches.
Well, i readed what urs wrote about multicore support.

I wouldnt realy recommend this gamelauncher thing tbh, i doubt it helps anyhow, on an up to date system + i wouldnt let such a programm fool around with the windows services.

I'm happy with game prelauncher, it boots into a mode without all the windows services, so it acts like it's own OS, just much less CPU and memory hungry, and it boosts the heck out of performance.
I first found out about it on this thread.
