Although this synth is able to make some extraordinary sounds its CPU use is even more remarkable.
On my own PC I was able to use 5 Kairas and CPU went up to 110% ! (I was not playing anything yet, just watching the performance meter was enough).
Bouncing was not an option because I had nothing to bounce yet.
I finally managed to get the stuff running on an other PC, but 9 Kairas was the limit.
Doc Jon already mentioned his dislikes (monophonic/CPU), which I +1 (normally I start a track build on some chords, but using 4 Kairas to play/construct a chord took all the fun out of that approach), but.. YES I still think it sounds GREAT!
InterSlotCall summed up my experience quit nicely, so my title is a response to his (title).
Uploaded mine, it's called :
"So Do I".
I used : 9 x Kairatune.
Track FX :
1 x JB Omniverb (send)
4 x ReaEq
4 x ReaComp.
Automation : No.
Master Fx :
1 x FreeG stereo
1 x TLs Maximizer.
Enjoy.

OK, I finally managed to make an entry for an OSC after a few previous months where I gave up because I couldn't understand how to program the synths. I found Kairatune a more accessable synth to work with, although my sound design skills are still useless, so it is mainly tweaked presets. 20 instances of Kairatune, 5 bounced to save CPU. I ended up using very little else in terms of effects, but there is one ReaEQ, one ReaDelay and Kjaerhus master limiter on the main bus. Host is REAPER.
It is called The Adventures of Captain Trillian.

With many apologies, I can't leave that bass alone and have tweaked it again. Seems to transcode better for Soundcloud listening now, but sorry to those who have already downloaded, I promise this is now the final version!

I admit I have been short on time this month, and with the

Mmmhh, seems to me i'm living in the cloud
Havent any trouble with Kairatune. My Quadcore (AMD Phenom II 940) + 4 GB RAM + Rotation 2 (14 x Kairatune + FX) + FL says: 52 % overall CPU-Usage.

thanks for the kind welcome kraftraum and IrionDaRonin. I've been following OSC for several months now, and always really enjoy listening to the entries. After recording virtually nothing in the last two years, I set myself a new years resolution to actually finish a few songs this year, and have managed three so far already. Cheers guys, a reasonable amount of entries so far even with the post-coital tristesse following Diva and the holidays etc.
And your cover really works Gorgor, sounds actually better than the violins of the original in my opinion even with the crazy glide.
