Cool, we've made this thread about me now, my favorite subject. I wish I could still change the title, but since my initial post was deleted, I can't. I'm still shown as the thread-starter or whatever the proper term is though. Life is good.

No, you've made it about you by throwing a tizzy about something that OBVIOUSLY*, was not about you. Good job. :tu:

Sigh.

I'd like to know what actually happened that Bias is no more. :?

LOL! :-) It was more curiosity than anything else. I just wanted to learn the back story. :-) Thanks for letting me know about the Wikipedia thing when that got thrown up, I was even more confused. LOL! :-) I guess all is well that ends.... well....? ;-)

P.S. Isn't it getting to be around hurricane season over there again? I noticed that there was a big one hitting from the south. I hope it's a mild year.

I'm really not at liberty to say. But, it all began when there was but a wee tike back on a small farm in Kansas. Life was as normal as it could be for someone of superior intellect and genetic stock, until that fateful day of the freak tractor accident. All that was saved was an oversized brain which was quick frozen along with a batch of Brussels sprouts. Many years later the brain and sprouts were thawed by an evil genius and connected directly to the internet. Forced to do heinous and unspeakable bidding, the brain was eventually liberated by forces of unknown origin, and now remains an ever vigilant watcher over the electronic realm.

Looks to me as if antithesist was using humor to defuse the situation. If so, seems like a good move to me. How about giving him a break? Everyone can shift the thread's focus.

That's how I read it too. I'm with Meffy on this.

BIAS has been in a death spiral for a few years now imo. I was always leery of the hyper discounted offers they sent me by email.

That last massive sale they had really made me think the end could be near for them, yet the deal was tempting, so I checked their forums and found out they had let some people go in an effort to downsize. I read of delayed feature upgrades and sensed a general air of dissatisfaction. That's all I needed to see to opt out of the offer.
