Some things that I think MUX needs asap:
* Undo
* Volume control on the sampler browser (yikes! that's loud)
Some stuff that I would like to see soon:
* Multisampler with round-robin/velocity layers
* More outputs, for routing to my host's mixer
* Pdc. I wouldn't want to add plugins in MUX without it.
* Assignable notes and note choking in the Drum Note Processor
Some questions and observations that have come to mind while playing with MUX for a few hours:
* Is MUX capable of creating more complex oscillators and synths? Say, like the multi-oscillator in Reason's Thor? The presets and demos in MUX (and Mu.Lab Free) tend to sound static, kind of old school Fruity Loops, i.e., not much complexity going on in the sound in way of timbres, modulations, and velocity. As someone who isn't that involved in synth sound design (yet!), the presets and demos have me questioning how capable MUX is at this point.
* Are there any plans to work in a more full featured sampling library? I don't mean something as complex as Kontakt, but more along the lines of the Reason factory sound bank, with a range of general instruments.
Mutools, I think that I saw your name is Jo? Jo, this is a really cool plugin. I have wanted something like this for a long time, like everyone else here. I'll be buying it when it becomes available, and I'm keeping an eye on it's development from now on. Also, reading through some of the threads here, it looks like you have a good relationship with Mu.Lab/Mux users. It is nice seeing that level of interaction between a developer and users. Someone should bake you a cake or something.
