I can't believe I've never noticed this before now, but velocity isn't on the list of midi controllers. I'm assuming this is intentional, so why has it been left out? With velocity, along with aftertouch, modwheel and pitchbend, MXXX can become an extension to synths and samplers, like it is built into them.
One more thing, regarding the midi note controllers. I wasn't going to request this because I have a workaround in Reaper but I thought maybe I should for the benefit of others. I suppose it would make things slightly easier for me too.
I requested range parameters for the note controllers a while back, which you kindly delivered, so thanks for that. Now, how about being able to use the note selector (which becomes redundant in logarithic mode) to set the base note for the lowest parameter value. This defaults to C-2 which usually isn't right for most synth or sampler patches, both mine and others. So instead of C-2 moving a filter to 20hz, you could have C1 or whatever note you required as the base key instead.
I get around this in Reaper by inserting a midi control plugin between the synth I'm using and MXXX, so it intercepts the midi coming out of the synth, and then transposes it before sending it to MXXX. I usually have to transpose it down by 2 or 3 octaves.
Cheers!
