Fwiw, a few requests for spectroblend:

More partials.

Control over the number of partials.

Partial bending, linear + parabolic (see Reaktor's Sine Bank and Prism's Modal Bank).

Something like Prism's assigning of A/B partials + A/B Balance + Shift.

Sorry for all the feature requests :hihi:
me too

For me, just little zoom for Spectroblend would be awesome. Like in ModMappers, just to be able to grab those harmonics more precise.

Being able to put a mask on the odd and even harmonics or something functionally equivalent would be very nice. Maybe even some simple procedural widget that can freeze every nth partial from editing, or create a repeating mask that loops. That would certainly make it a lot easier to get away from "filtered sawtooth" sounds.

A lot of my spectroblend waveforms have been based on missing a certain number of harmonics and then editing one, then repeating while varying something, or other very simple repeating patterns. These create some really interesting progressions, but the editing process is bordering on painful and frustrating  . Often one mis-click can mess up a whole bunch of partials.

In fact, a few people have asked me if I used a computer program to create these wavetables. No, I just am that hellbent on doing science. :hihi:

Phase editor for harmonic partials needed mostly in the case of spectra2geo and vice versa conversions. And I personally think that such conversions would be handy. And also fabulous blend2geo conversions, although it is an AI territory (discrete data vectorizations and other). But it is not so rare task for modern computing applications.

Sounds like a great plan! I'm glad to hear you're going in this direction... :)

Our new meta controls will have additional controls for Decay (optional) and Loop level. They don't actually change the envelope itself, they're non-destructive and can be modulated.

+1 :) Perfect! :)

And +1 Anything with spectroblend.

Great plans!

Cheers

All of this sounds beautiful. Thank you for being so awesome :D
