Don't know much about the spirit, but I would kill for a spot on emulation of the Paraphonic Crumar Performer. That sound is so raw and unique compared to the other Paraphonic string synths.

Yeah, a paraphonic option was something I always wanted to add...

Probably because your not recreating old patches.
Probably cause he is good enough at it that it doesn't matter :)

i still don't see the issue. you can still recreate old patches accurately. even from a patchsheet. the only difference is that on the actual synth parameter might be at 7 and in Diva at 6,5 or viceversa.
but they sound identical if u take 1 minute to adjust a few parameters.
however you might not be able to match exactly any patch containing noise (cos it was decided to use the same white noise for all the different synth modules and this may differ from the originals).

Pro-One, now that sounds interesting! There are plenty of Moog emulations around, ARPs, some Rolands, Korgs, but not so much Sequential, Oberheim, and Yamaha. A good Sequential and Oberheim emulations would be nice. :)

No, I don't take Arturia seriously. :hihi:

I still miss my Matrix-6 quite a lot, and there's still no proper emulation of it. OP-X, well... it's just not it, like Arturia ones, too, although it doesn't sound bad. I can bet U-he Oberheim or Sequential emulation would sound brilliant! :) I've never heard better analog emulations so far. U-he stuff just sounds *right* to my ears, even when it doesn't emulate anything in particular. Actually, that's the fun thing with Diva...

Even though I already own a real Pro-One, I also lobby for Pro-One and/or Oberheim stuff for Diva (if & when u-he has time). Unless I run my Pro-One through some sort of guitar amp distortion, the unwanted noise in my 31 year old Pro-One is not good (and no MIDI). I prefer my Prophet virtual synth software to my real Pro-One (blasphemy?).

Pro One for Diva.
Yes please :D

Speaking of noise emulation, it would be awesome if sometime in the future there was an option in Diva to switch between different "models" of noise in a tweaky page somewhere. I'm not sure how much one noise generator differs from another but people do seem to be reporting differences.

The ability to be able to low cut the noise as well, should any of the modelled noise contain subsonic rumble, should be on every synth IMO. Often the noise will sound great but the DC chaos in it makes it unusuable without a decent highpass filter.

Yeah sorry, noise was neglected... won't happen again

Just adding my "voice" to the crowd in favor of Pro One and Oberheim (even though I have an SEM).

Keep the support coming :)

+10 000!

That would be fantastic! I also have an emulator and these filters have a beautiful liquid quality to them, that I would love to have in DIVA too. I agree with others though that the addition of a SEM model and a Pro-One model would be cool. And because we are still on this, a Yamaha CS model would be amazing.... Ok, whatever happens will be great! :)
