MUX in Reason ?

What I love the most in Mulab is the sound quality of the internal instruments and effects.
Now they are available in the MUX VST.
The Essentials version of Reason is only 120 Eur, but have not a lot instruments in it, but is expandable by the Rack Extensions (RE).
So what about a MUX Rack Extension for Propellerhead Reason ?

Now that's a brain bending thought.sl23 wrote:Does that mean VST's will work in Reason via the MUX?

I thought so! I always liked the look of Reason way back in v3 but lack of VST support put me off. That and the price. But now looking at v6 id be willing to pay.

There is no way PH would allow VST hosting in Reason so I wouldn't hold out much hope on the full version of MUX as an RE.sl23 wrote:Does that mean VST's will work in Reason via the MUX?

I understand that direct VST support could be a pain to do for Reason dev's, but the MUX could do the supporting and 'convert' to Reason's Rack Ext format. Or something like that anyway, is that possible?

I'm afraid they won't allow that. Being able to use vst's (although through a workaround) could probably be too much competition against their own RE formatsl23 wrote:I understand that direct VST support could be a pain to do for Reason dev's, but the MUX could do the supporting and 'convert' to Reason's Rack Ext format. No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

Maybe Propellerhead will allow a Mux RE but without VST support...
