Urs i think an essential plugin that has not yet been nailed in dsp and that you guys can do better than anyone else is an analog sounding vocoder .
i would be 100% confident you guys could pull it off and i'd pre-order one in a nanosecond if you'd announce one.
i made an explorative thread in effects section to see if any developer is ready to take on the task...but i know is a toughie.

Will Diva be available in Satin for my Presswerk?

Wahoo! That makes my day! Count me in for a Bazille license as soon as it is released!Urs wrote:Well, Multiples can be used like VCAs.moscom_electronics wrote:As Bazille's features have not been unveiled yet, and I am impatientI have a few questions :
- will we be able to modulate the VCA by other sources than the gate and enveloppes? Diva offers such a possibility abd I think it is brilliant.Affirmative. Envelopes can be triggered by LFOs.- Somehow I like when a synth (especially in a modular configuration) has loopable enveloppes (I do not own Zebra, but my recollection from playing with the demo is taht it has such enveloppes). Any chance to see that in Bazille? Not yet. It may happen in a future version though...- Will we be able to modulate the clock of the sequencer as well as theclcok of the LFO's?
#---
Ok... new features galore, mostly meant as supporting gear on the Tweak page:
LFOs have separate outputs for Triangle/Saw, Pulse and Random S&H - a symmetry parameter controls the waveform/lag
2 auxiliary Ramp generators (ACE-style, trapezoidal) to support existing envelopes, also banned on Tweak page
2 ACE-style Mapping Generators, similar to ACE on Tweak page
2 auxiliary VCFs which are similar to VCF1/2 but only take control rate modulation (envs, lfos, wheels) and thus live on the Tweak page. They came "free" of CPU in parallele to VCFs 1/2, as long as there wasn't any supersonic modulation. Their patch points are on the main page of course.
Each Osc has a choice of traditional Cosine for PD/FM, but you can as well use the infamous Tap The Map feature known from ACE, available for both Mapping Generators - great options both for modulation and waveform design
As has been visible in the rendering, there's now 2 inputs each for VCF and Outputs. This saves on Multiples big time, which are now available for other tasks.
Resonance modulation has its own depth parameter now - more control.
That's it in a nutshell... whole new synth, but fully backwards compatible provided you repatch the LFOs accordingly (we might be able to do this on the fly, not sure)

Thanks!

Alright, looking forward to it !Urs wrote:I think it's feature complete, but the user interface isn't there yet. It needs to be rebuilt from scratch bearing resemblence to the Satin design. Once we have final renderings of Satin's knobs and all we can probably do an almost final draft quickly.K-Slash wrote:No love for Presswerk ? What about it ?
Will it have a GUI for the Messe ? And, is the feature set finalized ?
Agreed, a vocoder would be an instant hit.olikana wrote:Urs i think an essential plugin that has not yet been nailed in dsp and that you guys can do better than anyone else is an analog sounding vocoder .

Yep, I'd be all over an analog style vocoder. I'm very excited by the new DIVA features, Bazille, and Satin. Saving-up now...!K-Slash wrote:Agreed, a vocoder would be an instant hit.olikana wrote:Urs i think an essential plugin that has not yet been nailed in dsp and that you guys can do better than anyone else is an analog sounding vocoder .

Will Presswerk go in the direction of Am-Munition?Urs wrote:I think it's feature complete, ...
And will Satin and Presserk appear as REs, too?

Bazille is going to be a lot of synth. Anything like DIVA's beta & amateur [e: well, not amateur but more enthusiast in cases] patch accumulation likely?

Best of luck with the MIPA award.
It all sounds very exciting, loads of new things to be looking forward too. Can't wait to hear Satin

This is interesting. I've been looking for a good vocoder since forever... I've settled on Razor's vocoder and Bitspeak. I think U-He could knock this out of the park with Uhbik V.olikana wrote:Urs i think an essential plugin that has not yet been nailed in dsp and that you guys can do better than anyone else is an analog sounding vocoder .

If you can do with Bazille what you did with your Uhbik patches, you should be on the official Bazille preset team.xh3rv wrote:Bazille is going to be a lot of synth. Anything like DIVA's beta & amateur [e: well, not amateur but more enthusiast in cases] patch accumulation likely?

Urs,
I'm excited by the new developments! Is the future Uhbie filter based on this?:

Are you trying to push for a release on May 4th?aaron aardvark wrote:Urs,
