I use slicex quite a bit, very flexible slicer/sampler, 8 articulations, several filter modes, hand drawn enveloppes for all the parameters. Plus it integrates edison engine and its' tools (so free convo reverb... and scripting). And you can load two loops at a time. I've never used any other slicer mind you, so I can't really compare, but I've never felt the need to use anything else (even for the most idm-ish stuff I make)Tricky-Loops wrote:I think I'll buy Slicex and Vocodex, does anybody have experience with them (good or bad)?. I already have Toxic and Morphine (great for pads), and I'm happy with it, but I still need a good loop slicer and a vocoder...
All in all I think it's really cool.
