Yes we consider them all as "public/customer betas" until we also include the AAX format. This should happen by the end of June. Completely understandable if you want to wait until then, no problem. Other minor enhancements and feature additions may be done during this period also.
FYI, AFAIK there are zero known issues with the Breeze and B2 "betas".
There are a couple minor ones with Aether:
1) Logic 32bit will crash if you load Aether AND B2 or Aether AND Breeze. (we just need to give another update to Breeze and B2.)
2) Crashes can occur if you scroll through the preset browser too fast.
3) VST in Live does not show up. (AU does)
Well actually 2 and 3 likely effect all three plugs. But 2 and 3 also affect the previous versions as well, and are not new. So the current "betas" are not really some first gen beta's that should be expected to be buggy and unstable. They simply are not quite 100% feature complete compared to everything we want to accomplish with this update cycle (i.e. we still need to add AAX.) We consider them suitable for real production needs.
Since AAX only effects smallish percentage of our customers, we did not want to make the rest of you wait for it. And it is good to have extra feedback while we still have everything on the operating table just in case anything else needs to be done that we are not aware of.
If anyone has pet peeves or requests etc. that have not been addressed, now is the time to tell us, so that we can consider them and implement solutions. Our reaction time should be lightning fast now that most of the work of this cycle is done.
