IL Wave Candy does exactly the same thing, only it's a plugin so it's realtime. It also does time domain and stereo image graphics. Pretty cool but you have to buy it with a bunch of other stuff.pdxindy wrote:Thx... thought it might be a simple plug-in I could obtain... oh wellSendy wrote:Cool Edit Pro.pdxindy wrote:Sendy wrote:Here are the wave and spectrogram images I've been using to investigate this:

There's also a freeware one called Sonogram SG-1. Not quite as customizable but it gets le job done.

If you have DMGAudio Equillibrium, it can show vertical sonogram.
You can drop wave file on Image-Line Harmor to resynth and open sonogram in a sidepanel.

The free version of Melda does not do the sonogram, but it is only $40 for the paid upgrade.
Will look into Equilibrium... egads... $275!!

Finally got around to playing with it again. I'm gonna have to leave it where it is for now, but it requires some additional envelope love, and then some more noise.
By the way, I'm basing the sound comparison off note B4.
