As for deadlines... well, things happen. E.g. we announced release dates before we did updates to *all* products, which cost us maybe a month in aftermath fixes and support. We got new people in and we needed to get them up and running.

But mostly, the resonance to the Satin announcement was so overwhelming that we simply had to do a few more things. The amount of work that went into it on top to April is well worth a few months :)

I've put Bazille aside because it's out there as a free-to-use alpha till year's end. The new UI and the few additions shouldn't make people too impatient about it.

And then of course, little delays become bigger delays once everyone goes on their vacations that were planned with older roadmaps in mind

It can be, from your harddrive and other Divas, but not from your arrange window. You can however drag MIDI from Diva to either harddrive, arrange windows (at least Cubase and Logic, probably more DAWs) and other Divas.

Actually copying a sequence from one pattern to another is just dragging a midi file from one button to another 8)

Oh that's very cool, so if I read it correctly then I can export midi and import that file into Diva?

In the meantime while waiting I just checked out Spire synth, pretty sweet synth with a nice arp/sequencer.

You posted the same comment twice, 1 hour and 14 minutes apart... It was just a silly meaningless comment on my part ;-)
Must have been a glitch in the Matrix

The flip side of course is that they should probably not tell everybody all the exciting news every 3 minutes :hihi:

And then slip with deadlines that were never really deadlines in the first place :x

That is disappointing to hear... just the multicore support alone will make a huge difference in usability.

Yep. Diva's sequencer however discards a lot of timing information - it'll stupidly play things back as 16th notes or something.

Of course. Someone just needs to add the button from Diva to Bazille's UI file...

Just call that a feature and get it published dammit ;)

The only thing that gets published tonight is my wife's website... it's her birthday in a few minutes, so please give her a like on Facebook if you're there

(wait till the EP is out... it's a fest of ACE, Diva and Zebra at Gareth Jones' hands)

(where's that bottle of bubbly...)

Ok reason enough, happy birthday Mrs Urs :)

Can you please elucidate a bit more?

Oh, I had not idea that Urs wife was a part of "The other ones"... Unfortunately only a "One hit wonder" band but I loved this song "Holiday"
Happy birthday Mrs. Klimek.
