Op maybe a Fairchild emulation would do the trick for the width and for the depth place instruments at the back with any compressor with fast attack settings.

For that 3d feeling it's always IK multimedia la2 and 1176 ones. I just starting using sddr and I'm loving its desk mode. Then the CLA classic compressors. Then last the Massey l2007.

Can't find either of those, did you make them up?! I assume the OP means plugins that add that to the mix, course you gotta create the space and vibe, but there are plugins that help to add that like SDRR and console emus, i've experienced this with Harrison mixbus.
But for space i'd think of reverb, analog/vibe good saturation or console emu fx (it's why those plugins exist isn't it, to add these qualities itb or am i way off?), life good compression/dynamics and 3dness yeah spatial audio effects like stereo enhancers unless you're talking about 5.1.
One plugin that i've tried which really added life to a mix was SPL Vitalizer.

I hope you know at least SOMETHING about how nebula works under the hood. It's far from a complete simulation of analog equipment, but it gets close.

All Xils-lab plugins have that particular vintage or analog vibe, due to closely modelled electronics circuits. Often they bring a lot more too. Analog and beyond.
