You can partly blame me for that pointing out all the little voice click/pop issues in the early versionsUrs wrote: We have tried to increase the voice count a few weeks back, but it requires a deeper surgery on a piece of code that's scheduled for revision next year. I wouldn't dare doing this right now. Voice management is an area that's as prone to driving us mad as filters are.
Definitely looking forward to testing this bit later!

Tiny visual bug in the 64bit PC version:
If you go to Patches screen at bottom left is a list of preset folders.
If some folder name is so long that it reaches the scroll bar at right,
the folder name is NOT cut where the scroll bar begins. It can be seen a little to right from the scroll bar.

The pulse wave can also make an octaved saw:
Ctrl 1 = 50
Ctrl 2 = 12
Instant Juno-style suboscillator.
I'm loving the sound of the fully modulated triangle mod mixed with the supersaw oscillator with medium detune and mix. The whole thing blends together into a beautiful pad. I haven't even looked at the arp yet.

Oh my, what a nice surprise. And me with an entire evening to myself.... what to do, what to do...
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this wonderful update!! Sorry for caps, but I mean, really. My first patch is like grunge heaven, plunging the MultiSaw/Pulse into the Uhbie filter with some x-modding and filter FM... what a gorgeous sound!
UI loading is *very* fast; if you can work this magic on Satin, I will be the happiest guy on the planet.

So one suggestion, excuse me if I have overlooked something since its quite possible I have and missed this
Since the clock appears to be a 'module', would there be a way to use this as a mod source? For LFO's for example to be set to retrig on sync/gate/clock? That way you could have the same swing thats applied to the clock also applied to modulations?

I think I found a bug on the digital osc.
Set mix to 100% oscillator 2 to hear it. If oscillator 1 is set to noise and 2 is set to supersaw, oscillator 2's supersaw output is lowpass filtered. Switch osc 1 to anything other than noise, and it jumps back to normal.

Well, DIVA is the only u-He sytnh I don't own (yet...).
But now, after a beautiful Zebra cheerfully crawled into my DAW, I think I might surrender sooner then I thought (having tried the new beta of DIVA - Devastating Implementation of Virtual Analog).
Winter is coming to this part of the world so I'll probably steer away from Bazille (Virus...) but I can't help thinking that at some point I will be infected by the Slu (Sonic Flu...)

Okay, here's a pretty weird bug:
I save a patch, load it up, and the global transpose is suddenly at -13. I set it to -12, save it again, load it up... again at -13.
Not a bad omen, I hope!
edit: after loading another instance, I can see that it seems to default to -13.

Urs, do you recommend to use the VST3 or VST2 version? Are there some differences where it makes sense to use the VST3 version?
I'm not sure if it's a VST3 feature... the own Steinberg plug-ins having directly on every knob/slider the option to show the automation track for this control. Is this a part of the VST3 specification?
Btw. I have this transponation set to -14

Edit : Sendy was quicker.
You gotta love beta testers
Ok select JP8000 OSC, turn the mix knob to the right side, so that only second OSC is audible, now select noise waveform on a second oscillator, this way two mod knobs act as a HP filter, upper knob for cutoff, lower for res (at least that's the impression I get).
Now select on a first oscillator noise waveform too, and as you'll be able to hear, mod knobs on a second OSC, which acted as HP filter, now turned into a LP filter.
OK, now select supersaw waveform on a second OSC, and while listening, toggle waveforms on a first OSC between noise and any other waveform, super saw on a second OSC turns into f((* knows what haha when you select a noise waveform on a first osc.
Not sure maybe it's a feature
Sign me and olikana (not sure I got the name right) for beta testing haha
for bitwig too lol edit: also don't forget about Sendy
off to sleep, have to be up at 5 am

Yes.. I have the same result. Seems to be a bug.ariston wrote:Confirmed. Bug or feature?Sendy wrote:I think I found a bug on the digital osc.
