You think this is busy....? Probably a misunderstanding:

But that's the other extreme, that's too less...

So either there are too many controls, or too less...

Ok, afaik it's limited to four controls and this might not be enough sometimes. OTH it's exactly what people (like you) demand. Btw, I love this feature in Omnisphere/Trilian, too. :)

That's not what I asked for. If I would be that minimalistic, I'd use Waves One-Knob-Wonders...

From all these boxes there should be some basic controls ON THE FRONT PAGE and an EDIT tab where you can go deeper and adjust every other control. But not all controls crowded on the front page...

ive never really been a fan of the melda drab 'spreadsheet' UI style, and this looks like its just as cluttered but now with harsh colours.

have you considered outsourcing the visual design side of it?

Font #3

Also, I like the bulk of the plugin controls to be on one page so I like the MAudio interface (I do not mind a stylistic change but I like having so much control so easily accessable).

no FB here.
Either 3 or 4.

Glad to read that some styles will be available soon ;)
I like the bottom part with the curve (with the smoother blue), while the upper part is a bit hard on the eye, imho.

Are you willing to pay for it as a customer?

Melda GUIs are uninviting in my opinion.
The fonts in this case are a non issue compared to the frames and ghastly colour scheme.

Agreed. I couldn't see any fonts because my eyeballs are bleeding from the colors.

That's always an interesting question.

How many Customers do you lose with an uninviting GUI?

A bad GUI can be more "expensive" than a good GUI - it can cost you a lot of customers.

I look forward to the final designs!

Cheers,

Seriously folks? Where did all the negativity come from?

For the record, colors are changeable, completely... So it was only about fonts and getting some feedback. And btw. several people made very positive feedback, so it is as always - everyone likes something else, as expected and as this thread proofs ;).

ThomasHelzle: True, but you again forget the main thing - there is no good GUI! Everytime some people like it and some don't. And all this thing is about getting feedback and some statistics about, how many people like this one. This thread only proven that people disagree in both the layout and graphical design. It's sad that some people are so negative, thinking that their opinion is the only right one though.
