Specially for you, how about this one? ;)

I like this one, except some texts don't fit in their respective boxes.

Vojtech, I have some ideas but before I start I would like to know how flexible it is to re-position some of the sections. One example, Lets say, I want to put the buttons A, B, C, etc. horizontally on top instead of vertically on far right. Is that possible? If so, is it going to be a huge or reasonable effort? If you are interested then I can create a wireframe diagram and share with you.
If we are talking about only the color/knob part then that's fine too, I have a flat design (bit of 3d/shadow) that I can share.

And so is on the Admiral page that you like... ;)

@satYatunes: great, I'm curious!

I said that I HATE the PolyAna skin! :!: :!: :!:

Sorry, my fault. I meant "Atlantis". ;)

Now I won't discuss whether Atlantis has more controls or Meldaplugs - in any case the Atlantis GUIs from Flavours of Lime look much better than the Melda GUIs. I've made my suggestions, I won't repeat them a third time, either take it or leave it! I have many other things to do than begging for better Melda GUIs and arguing three times about ever word that I've said... :x

Post

Calm down, bro'. Nothing to get upset about. :)

Ok Tricky, here's one for you:

What do you think? I essentially started from the screenshot you posted. It's obvious you just love the hardware looking stuff. I'm personally not fan of it, but it has it's magic :).

satYatunes: Well, it depends ;). Some things are easier, some not. Note that all the plugins share the scheme and they actually "create" the GUIs, so it's not that simple, nothing like simple photoshopping a few images... But if you come up with some nice idea, then we should definitely think about it. But also note that it must not be too controversial, our customers are already used to the layout, it wouldn't be a good idea to change it too much.

Hm these have a half assed hardware look. All text still looks computerish and not like real displays. I think to do a real hardware like GUI is a lot of work.

I think an all ass neatly styled digital GUI might be better than a half ass hardware GUI.

Well it will never be really like hardware - did you every hear about resizable hardware with adjustable font sizes and colors? :D Yeah, easy work for simple Photoshoped plugins... ;)

Guess this sort of re-arrangement would be possible? Don't mind the look for now, just moved the objects around trying to find some "rhythm"... ;)

This would be an improvement, and if it had the new Melda Vintage Design that Vojtech posted in the other thread, I would dance around the Prague Castle...

Here is my idea of repositioning certain elements of the UI. Not sure that's possible or not. Please note, the image is just a mock up wireframe diagram so all the components are not available. I would leave the band section as it is. I have some more ideas but not sure if I will be able to spend more time until the objective is clear.

Huge meters, aah, we like it. :)

One note though: the meters expand according to the number of bands being used. I forgot this, too. So you need space for them to expand (atm they shrink the bands-window and the gain faders).

Anyway, the re-positioning is nice. I like it.

Thanks Elassi. I have considered that in my design. We can have 6 bands max, right? So when you add 4, 5, and 6 then it will shift towards right. Dry/wet, input and output gain sliders will expand accordingly. Now the real problem will be with the buttons on top and button i.e. A, B, C, D, etc. I don't know how they will look. My programmer mind says it can be managed.
