Yep, six bands. Your concern regarding the buttons is about the spacing upon resizing, right?

Me, meanwhile, found another thing to think about. The content of the pop-up windows... guess one has to find a "visual description & rules" for content blocks instead of the whole (front)page. Have a look:

(btw. a "good" example for conflicting borders...)

Apple dropped it to the favour of flat design since many people revolted...
Yes, and now iOS7 only matches my Hello Kitty Bubble Gum dispenser. Blech. :tantrum:

Well, folks, I'll be honest, when you said change the layout I was pretty skeptical... But actually this is a pretty good idea! ;) And you both basically came to a similar design, I'd merge both in a way, and change it a little, because there are a few problems (and probably things I don't really forsee :D), but that's definitely worth trying!

Btw, IMO a true beauty when it comes to clear visuals on a loaded page is the good ol' VAZ . The only thing I'd probably change is the header of the modules (see gif):

If the length and width of the buttons are defined in percentage then it would work. It will adjust to the new size.

Is it a good idea to expose each and every parameter? Don't think so. Collapsible panels in this kind of scenario will fit the best. Show only the parms that's important and keep others hiding and provide a button for the adventurous user.

Sure, but it's already the "2nd level" of parameters (here: the Modulator's page)! And even there we have more params lurking under the tabs (see top left).

Vojtech strangles his users with parameters! And I honestly think he likes it! :D

No, kidding, there's such a deepness in those plugins that we are facing sort of a FSR1 (Yamaha) in software. :hihi:

I was working on the UI part also, created only the attached slider and panels. I think some change to the existing elements will be beneficial. Believe it or not, a flat design is most apt for this type of plugins. Especially when it's re-sizable.

I am sure he is getting sadistic pleasure out of it :-D. I was just looking at the MXXX UI, thinking what could be done... 5 mins and now I have a severe headache...

Yo, slim elegance.

Takes away the brutal squared geometry. :tu:

Keep the suggestions coming, satYatunes.
