What I mean is … does the F'ing thing work like it's supposed to on a mac and does it sound the part like a $200 dollar soft synth should.Dasheesh wrote:cryophonik wrote:iPad's got nothing that can compete with Loom.Dasheesh wrote:I'm really leaning spire I think.

I've been drooling over it, but all I've heard or read is avoid buying from that company… another use audio situation (I've been hit on a plugiator before too). What's your take then? Safe purchase?
I'm looking around to see if there is a better alternative. So far I'm unsure there is.vurt wrote:a few thingsUrs wrote:Maybe also the physical modeling side (check out presets using comb filters)Dasheesh wrote:The whole wavetable area right?
and i didnt talk about largo cos you asked about zebra :scratches head:
Spire would be redundant in many ways to Z3ta+2. Zebra would expand your sonic palette. And although it's more money, Alchemy is a great candidate for this too. (But you can download the player and its library for free and give it a good run.)vurt wrote:zebra would imo compliment thise well as it covers different ground...Dasheesh wrote:Guess I should add that for about 3 years now I've used… ZETA 2 FM 8 IMPOSCAR 2
About a hundred freeware.
Thanks, that purchase scares me a little. I want it though. I know I can trust zebra, and it would mesh with my other kit at this time. It's a hard decision to make… to throw hundreds of dollars at something you are unsure of.Dasheesh wrote:I'm looking around to see if there is a better alternative. Seriously? I think we have way too many options at this point.Dasheesh wrote:I'm playing with the zebra demo… it's fantastic and I will probably just go zebra. Urs deserves all the accolades he can get, I guess I'm just a little frustrated there are not more options at this point.
