Wow, just took a deeper look at the voting results (didn't know that was possible). Found out I even got a few 5 points and quite a lot 4 points (18 times), mostly from the guys that I admire a lot for their skills. So a very big thank you especially for those, that means a lot for me

I will probably take some time away from all this now, as I have a bunch other stuff going on...maybe will try again in a couple months from now.

First of all: a big thx to V'ger and BJ Porter for your time to make this special OSC
One of my wishes come true
And second: a big congrat to the winner BJPorter, Z.Prime, Solidtrax: well, well done track you make
And third: thx all from you guys who give me so much points, i'm really surprised that i take the 4. place in this great contest. Thats a big honor for me after 2 years making music in the OSC
And fourth: thx all for the great music, music styles and sounds you make with the different synth ... in some cases my head bang on the table how you make such nice things
As ever it's hard to give away the points cause all in this contest do a great job.
@V'ger: a little correction from me to the Scoreboard results: i did not use the Dune CM as listed in the scoreboard ... it's the Zebra CM with the funny formant Filter
Have a great week and see you in one of the next OSCs

+3 Great idea!ClaRago wrote:When is the next "CM" OSC where we would all have to use a different synth from this one ?
Congrats to bjporter, well deserved win, among so many really strong entries.
With the quality of some of the tracks you would think using only one synth was no limitation at all!
Interesting that for many of us Dune was the go to synth of choice, synapse audio must be pleased with this, and it is so easy to get great sounds from this little beastie.
I have really enjoyed this osc, and will definitely participate in the future. Many thanks to the organisers, and computer music magazine.
Thanks to everyone for listening, and for the great feedback - which is the real prize for me (tho a years subs to computer music would have been nice)

I'm not helping V'ger in OSC stuff since few months, i don't have enough free time.solidtrax wrote:V'ger and BJPorter for organising this (also Irion if I am not mistaking?)
As some of you know my bad economic situation i have to boost other things in my life, to recover myself (health), to continue looking for a job without any luck, (Spain is a joke) and i want to get money somehow to go to UK to live with my girlfriend and start a new decent life there. That is what we have in mind.
Also, participating in some contests with money involved to pray for a chance, reading books and learning more music stuff, specially mastering which as i have noticed, continues being my weak point.
Doing my volunteer stuff to help families in social exclusion risk, and passing time with girlfriend and my cat.
So, all the organization, votes, threads, and the hard work were things from V'ger and Brian.
I just was the guy who contacted Mr.Lee from Computer Music to make an OSC CM. I really wanted this to happen since years.
Probably i won't be here participating during many months. All depends on how my life goes from now.
So i wish you all good luck in future OSCs and have nice times in this great community.
It was my pleasure, buddies.
Hope to see you all again someday.
