Voting was hard and especially with the varied and slightly unknown synths like already pointed out by others here, but still want to give kudos for good voting, especially for not scoring a quality track down because of length as a 1:16 min track almost made the top 5.. 8)

Contacted now so hopefully coming soon.

Solidtrax, you are next to chose a prize. What will it be?
In case Solidtrax misses your query...earlier they wrote:

Let me add...lots of good music this OSC. Congratulations to the winners. And I think DuneCM deserves a prize as well! A wonderful piece of software. I hope we get a lot of new presets in the KVR downloads section (Thanks ToneDeF71!)

Yes sorry Solidtrax, missed your earlier post in all the excitement.. 8)

Your prize request noted Kraftraum. That leaves you Jasinksi, what will it be?

I'll take the KV331 "SynthMaster Everything Upgrade"
Seems fitting since I used SynthMaster CM for the contest.

Sorry for the Drama...

My voting for Z.Prime was meant to be a 5 ( I recorded my choices in a Treesheets spreadsheet (http://strlen.com/treesheets/) and see I graded his song a 5 on my Treesheets spreadsheet ) however during clicking the Google voting form his score got recorded as a 1.

First, my apologies go out to Z.Prime as it was a mistake, and secondly, I feel that I hurt his feelings and it's unfortunate as I voted no one under a three, except for myself and Z.Prime on the Google Form.

Basically, I am worried that Z.Prime might not have the spirit to help others in the future, as he has kindly been answering some of my audio/mixing queries during the last two challenges. I strongly dislike the idea of biting the hand that's helping you, and I feel he might feel that this was a bite for helping me, but I hope he understands it was an honest mistake. Furthermore, I have no negative thoughts/feeling towards him. Please accept my apology, Z.Prime.

I want know if understand correctly you like tune which is only lenght of 1:16?...

The question is not pointed at me, but I'll say my opinion anyway: IMO song leght is irrelevant. You can create a smashing one and a half minute song or a ten minutes of crap sounds. If ppl like it, why not giving it a good mark? ;)

Yes I too like the fact that it's a track's quality that matters and not its length.

I just was the guy who contacted Mr.Lee from Computer Music to make an OSC CM. I really wanted this to happen since years.
"Mr. Lee" is Lee du-Caine, editor at Computer Music who arranged all the prizes with the various developers and did great promotion in the magazine and their sites so big thanks to him.

I think overall both CM, developers and us benefited as the threads were stickies for 6 weeks + with over 40 000 views and some great tracks produced.

Since the competition was first thought of and voted on in the rules vote last year there were some fears that not everyone could get hold of the CM plugins, but with the digital download recently set up by CM most were able to.

Yes there were some people who still had to drop out with bank card or Zinio issues so ideally should have waited till there was one of the frequent Zinio offers on so all could join, and it was also still not clear which plugins could be gotten with which issue of the magazine and other things, but even though proceedings were started before all this could be sorted out things went generally smoothly..

There was initially some talk of doing the competition with CM effects only, but I think overall the free choice between those and the normal free effects was the best considering compatibility and also judging from what people preferred to use in their submissions.

Prize pool was as you know a staggering $5000 and concerns that winners would see little of that, but the selection was obviously good and with items over $800 of those given out to the top 5 which is not bad for any music competition.

Add to that, Computer Music have also decided to give out their prizes (print subscription, not digital) on top of what the winners chose which is a $400 prize itself, so total wins then ~$1200 which is obviously great.
