I just checked and I bought Zebra 2 in October 2006. So over 7 years now and I have never paid another cent for it (not counting 3rd party patches). My memory is that was right when Urs got the Windows build working and was doing a last time pre-release discount. I'm pretty sure he gave me the discount price (whatever it was) even though I was a bit late to the party. I don't have a receipt showing purchase amount saved anywhere to be sure.
Great synth, great value. And I've never felt kneecapped by Zebra being sold for $50 every few weeks or Urs selling things that never get delivered (I'm looking at you, W***k). No complaints whatsoever. If I were forced to sell most everything I have purchased, u-he would certainly be among the last to go, Zebra in particular.
Can we expect any seasonal discounts on u-he.com?
