I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

...but I think he (the GUI designer) got a bit overboard with the knob shine (the small knobs)

The meter edges/contour still needs to be blended in some more (so it doesn't seem like it's falling out) ...as well as the lines delimiting the "part areas" of the compressor IMHO. May I suggest blending the lines a bit more or replacing them as they are... ugly? :P :D sorry

Thanks for the update, my favorite go-to compressor got even better!

PS not that important, but the "snap" mode GUI color seems a bit too dark?
Agreed with all this, especially the DC1A 2 meter ;).

But soundwise, it's a beast  !

Oh goodie. Something nice to play with at the weekend. 8)

Regarding the big version; i noticed that on the screenshot it says 'NOSE' under Shape. Is that actually right and im just missing the meaning or is this a typo and it should actually be 'NOISE'?

Oh and as for the names; since the names of the plugins already contain so many letters and numbers, how about postfixing the updated ones 'Mark II'? You know, like 'DC1A - Mark II'. IMO this would give a much better visual representation of the fact that these are V2s than an appended 2 after a space, not to mention of course that 'Mark II' simply sounds much cooler too. 8)

no, it's NOSE. it's a shape of the compression curve. it's all in the manual.

It's not important how "old" a browser is. A professional site should look well on every browser!

OK, I keep going back and forth looking at the previous GUI VS the new one and I got to be honest: although I like some aspects of the new one (like the buttons, the color/contrast/shades, different styles for the easy modes), the older one clearly looks better to me.

The older v2 GUI looked good and didn't felt like it was trying to look better than it was.

The new GUI looks like it's been really polished and hyped...

I suspect that people are impulsively posting saying that they like the new GUI, because they feel happy to see something "new" about the plugin that they like, + it kinda looks better by default at 1st glance because the color/contrast and more shadow 3d-ish look perhaps.. but in reality, do they really like the new GUI better?

I say, that the new GUI might be heading in the right direction but needs more work.

such as:
-less shine for the small knobs + the added "rings" makes them look like checker pieces, the simpler in this case, the better IMO.

-the lines delimiting compressor "areas" are ugly IMO, they should be replaced and made less prominent.

-the meters must be better blended and adapted/changed to go with the compressors "theme" ..the overall quality and features of the compressor will usually tell you what it's theme is... as I see it for this one: modern (that does vintage but still "modern") , solid, "go-to", flexible compressor. The old v2 meter seemed better suited?!

yes it is important how old a browser is. you can't expect everyone to account for ancient versions of software, especially an indie developer who doesn't have a dedicated web teams testing each and every goddamn browser version. a professional site should look well on every fairly recent browser, not on every browser, period. what's stopping you from updating your browser instead of asking the dev to test his website on a firefox version that was new 10 versions ago?
