Think about how PDC is handled in other DAWs: if fixing it was quick and simple, don't you think it would be working 100% in all products that people have been using for years?

People have reported problems in many areas. It's not just PDC they are working on.
Sometimes, if you haven't got anything useful to say, it's best to say nothing at all. I'm not interested in your speculation.

The PDC fixes are in there, the OSX graphic glitch on retina machines etc.

More infos later!
Excellent news! Thanks Dom.

That's not speculation, he's answering your question of why a certain fix might take a while when other fixes were rolled out quickly. And anyway, better reasonable speculation than "CONFIRMED BITWIG BROKEN EXACT SAME THING AS LIVE PACK YOUR BAGS DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DECADE," which seems to have turned out to be all wrong.

Lol, do shut up. I asked for an ETA, which Dom kindly provided. Anything else was just irrelevant speculation from people who didn't know the answer to my question.

Post

Yeah, I know you asked for an eta, you're leaving out everything else that happened.

If that's the case, why have there been several patches already?

They have confirmed that they've sorted the PDC problem, I'm just interested in when it'll get here.
This guy was just trying to answer your question, in which you seem to indicate that you expect all bugs to be fixed in a day because that happened with some of the bugs.

And if your memory is so short that you really need the proof that your sudden insistence on no speculation is hypocirtical here you go:
virtualmark wrote:FFS all this waiting, and this DAW doesn't have PDC. Not impressed.
virtualmark wrote:PDC confirmed to be broken on the forum, I've just tried it for myself and the automation goes out of time. What a sad joke, I emailed them months ago and they said it is working and automation is compensated. All this waiting just to find out that it's a fraud, glad I haven't paid them anything yet.

Time to uninstall and move on.
"Sometimes, if you haven't got anything useful to say, it's best to say nothing at all." I guess that applies to others when you don't hear what you want but not to you? Just have a little self awareness and all will be cool.

Ogopogo - you seem intent on trolling, so I will just politely tell you to sod off. You are adding nothing useful whatsoever to the discussion. I'm not interested in debating what was said and having things taken out of context, nor am I interested in reading anymore of your inane drivel. As I've repeatedly stated, I just wanted an ETA from someone that knows what they're talking about.

Post

Nothing is misleadingly out of context and I think the logic is quite apparently to anyone else reading; you've got to hold yourself to the same standard as others. I guess if you are able to post that stuff in the first place you are not the kind of guy that's going to admit what's wrong with it when it's pointed out to you either. Whatever.

Post

Hopefully the author can edit the thread title now that it's been confirmed to be fixed in 1.04.

Wait. We want to test it first :)

Well, see it from the bright side; if they have addressed this PDC trouble and fixed it right (we'll soon figure this out I guess), this is one of the last opportunities to troll on the PDC issue. I wonder...

Yeah, users define when it is fixed.

Hehe, that will be disappointing. Less drama is not as fun ;)
