Thanks for him!
These guys who make so excellent products and distribute them as freeware (as also you for Revitar) have a lot of merit!

Is the code still pushing CPU limits? Perhaps some ideas for improving the sound would actually be feasible nowadays. Anyone try pushing the number of simulated points on the strings higher? The body of the guitar still needs serious work.
Did anyone take a look at Larry's suggestion? When I read his updated post about the 120 points, my first thought was, can that number of points be adjusted by itself so that faster systems might have a crack at a higher quality? I'm not sure if it's that simple, because I haven't looked at the code. If the code uses a variable for the number of points though, I would assume then that the algorithm would also allow for a range of points.

Something else I've noticed is that the length of notes (on sustain), and the quality of the sound, changes when used in 96kHz environments, compared to 44.1kHz (in other words, the higher the samplerate, the faster sustain seems to expire, by the lower the samplerate, the .. er .. muddier the sound is?).

Is it still impossible to pitch bend notes?

??? seems to work fine here

@druid: unfortunately I still have not been able to change the "simulated points" without many other settings going haywire ...

I've never been able to get it to work. I'll try again.

Thanks for compiling this and keeping it online, Asseca. I'm trying to find a way to make guitar sounds work on my midi setup, really hard to figure out where it would work well. Revitar is a good place to test.

Man it's buggy, I'll just test it in Savihost.

When I save project in FL Studio 11 (Win8, 32bit) and try to load it, I have this issue. The only way how to solve it is reload project again and again...

For me in FLstudio the most stable version is 2.01 end of page 5. Don't rename it, insert it, copy the settings, remove the old one and save the project again.

Asseca, are you still working on your version of Revitar?

I talked with the Larry Zitnick over email back in 2013 about some changes I made to the code, and he agreed to let me release it under the MPL2.0, and lately I've had a few more ideas and I'd like to continue working on it.

EDIT: Oops, I didn't realize how old the last reply is. My apologies for necroposting
