Advanced tab for MDynamicEQ missing in 8.02?

I'm re-demoing the MDynamicEQ (since its on sale) and according to the V7 manual there is a threshold control under the advanced tab, but for the life of me I cannot seem to find this advanced tab, or the threshold control in the new V8 GUI.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just click on a filter. Click on the filter type symbol in the band list (below the graph, expandable) or right click on the band circle in the graph. Then the settings tab opens, and there is threshold/advanced.

Hi there

One of my associates had this exact same issue on Mac. As far as I can tell, neither him or Vojtech has gotten to the bottom of the issue yet.

My friend reinstalled the previous version and all was well with it so something in the new GUI engine is not playing nicely on some systems.

Unfortunately he was busy with too many projects to be of much help to vojtech yet but said he will run the diagnostic tools when he gets a chance.

Sorry I can't be of any more help, I much prefer working with the new GUI and it works just fine on my system so I sympathise.

I know brmize updated Ableton to the latest version but the issue persisted. He runs Mac OSX 10.6.8 (as do I)

Is there any chance you could post your system and specs as any similarity between your two systems might make finding the cause a lot easier.

Ok guys, I'll get to it asap. It seems some of you (well, probably just you 2 so far) have something specific on your macs and we need to figure out what it is... Btw. do other popup windows work? Like modulators or multiparameters?

One more thing - can you check another host? Is it Live-specific issue?
