Feel like an idiot but it won't accept the Public Beta info posted in this thread.

Using Ableton Live 9.

Always says "Please enter your codes carefully" and stays in demo mode.

How do I avoid this?

Thanks!
First, make sure you have revision 2566. This would be the number left of the u-he logo in the UI.

Then, copy / paste Public Beta into the name field. Now copy / paste the serial number into the reg code field. If your host software doesn't let you paste, usually a right-click into the text field does.

That should do the trick.
Hmmm...that is what I did and it did not work previously.

I re-installed the newest version (again) and now I have the correct version and the registration worked properly.

Thanks!

BR393 wrote:Panning stacked voices with the mapping generator in polyphonic mode still seems to be buggy. Randomly, some notes will not pan the stacked voices according to how the MMap is set (e.g. left or right channel volume will be very quiet, when voice panning is set to be split equally left and right). The issue doesn't seem to occur when the voice mode is set to mono though.

Also, adjusting the GUI gamma setting often crashes Ableton Live.

I'm using Bazille VST in Live 9.1.4 64-bit.
Hi,
which Operating System are you using? Could you please send a project, which demonstrates the issue "Panning stacked voices with the mapping generator "? Let me also know, how to reproduce the "GUI gamma setting" crashes. Please send all info to support (at) u-he.com .
Thanks!
Cheers,
Michael

Hi Michael,

I'm running OS X 10.9.4 on a late 2013 model MacBook Pro Retina.

I can send you guys a project for the panning stacked voices issue later today, but here's the setup in case you want to try checking it yourself in the meantime. Just assign MMap 1 or 2 as the mod source for Pan. On the MMap assigned to pan, set the steps to 2, with one step at +100 and the other at -100. Set stacked voices to 2, voice mode to poly, and then set the pan hard left or right. Now just keep triggering a note. With this setup, each note triggered should have one of the stacked voices panned hard left and the other voice panned hard right. However, I randomly get some notes where either the left or right channel is almost completely silent. This only seems to occur in poly mode though, not in mono mode.

Simply right clicking on the GUI and changing the gamma setting usually causes Live to crash for me. When I reopen Live and relaod Bazille, the new gamma setting is selected though.

Hey Brandon,
thanks for your report! I'll try to reproduce the issues. Please send the Live set anyway - just in case. :)
Send also the whole crash-report of the “gamma setting” crash.

How to get to the report?:
- Hold down the OPTION key and access the “Go” menu
- Select “Library” to jump to the Users ~/Library directory
- Find it in here: ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/

Thanks!

Cheers,

I'm on 10.9.3... Ableton Live

I just tried this and can confirm the issue. It only happens in poly mode because you need overlapping notes. What is happening is a couple notes get triggered together and the note assignment gets confused so that on one note both stacked voices are -100.

If you set the Modmapper to 3 steps with 1st step +100 and step 2 and 3 to -100 you can see the behavior easily... one channel goes silent and the other phases

FYI, I've noticed the stacked voice panning issue occurs in the most recent versions of Ace as well.

Hey, whats "your" most recent version?

Post

I have ACE 1.3 installed.

My mistake, I'm not currently able to reproduce the issue in version 1.3 of ACE (just checked). I may have had a beta build installed the last time I encountered the issue in ACE.

I take that back, I was just able to get it to occur in ACE 1.3 after all. Seems like maybe it happens less frequently in ACE than in Bazille.

Hi,

Fantastic synth, purchased! I do have a problem though, in my case, revision 2566 seems maybe less CPU efficient than rev 2370. I'm getting a bunch of random clicks and pops since I updated (compared with the same projects, on the same computer, same buffer and soundcard settings). I'm running the 32 bit version on a 64 bit Windows 7, Ableton 9.1.4 with a 4470 i7 if that can help. I am using the multicore option on Bazille.
Another thing, I would love to see the Casio Cz Ring and Noise functions implemented on Bazille one day, nothing urgent, Bazille is already full of options to explore for now.

Thanks,
Oliver.

Is there any possibilities of any sort of sound change with this update. I only ask, because if I'm correct, the previous update had some changes to the filter which were mentioned would change the sound.

cheers
