When I go to record a punch in using audio, Tracktion seems to be deleting a portion of the audio BEFORE the punch in mark. For example:
I recorded some snaps, then set in/out and turned on punch mode. Backed up to a spot before the punch and hit record. During record, the punch seemed to work, but afterwards this is what I had. I'm on Mac OS X 10.3.4, Traction 1.5.1.16.

I should have a continuous track (punch was in the middle of a continuous track). This makes the punch-in feature not very useful.
Also, the mute while recording feature is almost right, but in the punch mode I would think it would only mute the portion you are punching over (between the in and out point). It seems to mute the entire track instead. not really a bug, but a less-than-useful behavior
Thoughts? Do we know if Jules is aware of this issue? Is this still a good place to post these possible bugs?
Thanks,
