If it ended up that way, send an eMail to us and we'll get it sorted out. ;)

But I'm afraid we have no insight into transaction data until a transaction was successfully completed, so we can't really tell you or find out what happened. Best to contact ShareIt directly here, if you have an order/reference number then send it along with your request.

After some days of intensive testing i have one real problem with presswerk:

Once you get used to its sound, you may want to replace most of your compressors by it, and that results in more cpu-load in comparison...
It's really f....ng awesome.

I have one suggestion.
A type of processor should be chosed by one dedicated button not from menu list. Could you prepare correct buttons (it is more confortable)?
Beside that a filter knobs (MIX / SideChain section) work to slow with a mouse movement (others knobs work fine)

How could it be that I have missed the thread. :dog:

Now I have to urgently decide between this one and the Glue (yes, I do understand that they must be VERY different)

This is really a compressor which covers a lot of behind the scenes workings of all compressors. Really clever idea and well implemented. It is not an emulation and a lot of the non linear peculiarities that Andrew Simper does are not ever going to be possible in Presswerk. If it were me and I had neither, I would get both !!!!

It seems possible that Presswerk - which is still in beta, not even v1.0 - could have further variations in the future. The menu might be a simple way to add these.

"Get both" is often the best answer to an "X vs. Y" question  But right now I have to choose only one.

I have basic compression tools (Studio One stock compressor and Izotope Alloy for tracks, Ni Solid Bus for busses, PSP Master comp for quick DIY mastering and DC8C2 as something to try when neither of the above works) and want to get something for "colouring compression". Is Presswerk supposed to do any "coloration" thing? Or it is more of a versatile clean compressor sorta like DC8C?

Parking the love... I'm going to sound like a cheap ass. Short story, sold; long story, broke. I'm wondering if I can apply the coupon from the recent U-He survey on top of the pre-release price? Is that possible and if it is, when will the survey coupons be sent out? Forgive me!

It will certainly colour the sound if you want it to with the saturation etc. If you have the PSP, maybe the Presswerk is a better fit, you can demo both AFAIK. Without derailing the thread I think the Kush UBK is a great colouring compressor if that is really what you want . Presswerk in the end gives you more bang for your buck as it can do a lot more than any of the others but in a different way. Sorry no real definitive answer.

Does it expand?

I understand that there may be no such thing :) Thanks for the input, I'll surely test them both against each other today.

Yes, I've also heard many nice things about Ubk-1 but it is iloked and priced slightly higher than what I'm ready to shell out now.

Hmm, can't try it at the minute. But can see there's an expand button linked to the HP and Dry/Wet knobs, how's that work?

Presswerk user guide, page 19 wrote:Expand: when this is switched on, the dry signal is multiplied with the inverse gain reduction, creating downward expansion and, at higher ratios, gating effects. In conjunction with the HP filter, Expand can make the sound a lot more lively.

Ah thanks. Will try it out asap

I think Presswerk is crafted such that more exotic controls have a lot to do with coloration. These can be zero'd out for clean operation, matched to hardware (for fun play spot the difference when loading a hardware-inspired view and back to normal), or tweaked around specific input. I don't think it's either/or and by design Presswerk is truly scalable and versatile in this regard.
