you can call the phase rotation switch "P-Rot" ...cause it adds color?!

P-Rot NO! lol not to my taste anyway
I think some people might really dig the idea of each mode as it's own VST. They'd feel a bit more like it's a 4 or 1 deal too.

^ I was joking of course!
But anyway, since I started to comment about this FWIW here's my vote: "Phase"
...that term seems to be both technical and descriptive to some degree at once. If you ask me,
I personally hate the term "ANLG" ... so dunno, I guess any other term will be much better...

How about a sideways phi? (ϕ rotated 90 degrees)
Or better yet, ϕ with partial circular arrow around it?

Smear is what my 2-year-old daughter does in her chair when we eat... no, no smear knob.

Maybe "AP" for all-pass, then?
Some other diffusion signifier?
Still like the ϕ variants too, though.

Or maybe just leave it at ANLG and let the users RTFM like they're supposed to do.

Have the dry set to minimum in your convolution reverb (if you add the dry signal it will sound kinda like a static phaser effect)

The FET module does absolutely magic when i put it on the Master buss, it really fattens up my whole production.....is it common to use FET compressor on the Master like that?

I well known engineer does that, and so a kind of trend started back in the days.ferez21 wrote:The FET module does absolutely magic when i put it on the Master buss, it really fattens up my whole production.....is it common to use FET compressor on the Master like that?
Mixing through a FET (1176) from the beginning : ratio 4:1, attack slowest, release fastest. And no more than 3dB GR and you're good to go.
It was mainly for mixing Rock, but I think you can try it on everything.
