Make MIDI Learn assignments permanent?

Hi, I am using U-NO-LX in ableton, and unclear how MIDI Learn is supposed to work... Seems the only way to save learned controller assignments is to save the live set.

Assignments aren't there if I add U-NO to a track in a new set, or even if I add another instance of U-NO to the same set.

Is there anyway to permanently assign CC's to parameters? I can't believe I would have to re-learn my controller everytime I use the plugin.

I just got a Behringer BCR2000, and was really looking forward to creating a BCR preset for U-NO to have knobs for all parameters.

So looks like no posts here since before July received any response, guess this isn't a good place to get support for TAL....
