Just for the record... There are no bugs in Reason, that I know of! And if you can't make any sound in the universe with a sampler (Delay and Reverb) you need some more training... If I export all my tracks from Reason, and mix them down in a Neve console, why wouldn't they sound fantastic? And master them with a Focusrite hardware compressor/EQ... Do you have that at your house? I don't... So why compare Reason's basic EQ and compressor with middle ground plugs? why not compare Firium with Focusrite? ...equipment you don't have? Why does any discussion of Tracktion's problems end up with "Fanboyism"... either you like it the way it is, or you suck! Too bad, because I paid for it, and I'd love to use it... but there has not been a single time that I have used it that one of the many mentioned bugs hasn't impeded my progress... and I've been using it for Hmmm... 2 years?? As it is right now I load a couple of VSTs... record a few tracks, and something goes wrong... And to be considered a real Mac program, it would have to do AU anyway, which I can only imagine what kind of problems that would cause?? I can't believe there hasn't been any help/intervention from Mackie?? What's up with that?

i think some fella named jules is the developer
anyway if reasons better use it
it cost you more so you best get your moneys worth anyhow
if jules says a bug is fixed it probably is from his point of view
any software developer only has a finite amount of computers to test there software on
no matter how big
windows full of bugs
cubase full of bugs
logic full of bugs
mac os full of bugs
no one and i mean no one is imune
but how surprising that when any of these packages have bugs its a case of ohwell i was expecting that
for some reason(no pun intended) people are so passionate about tracktion that when they run out of good things to say the bad things roll right on out
i dont know weather the first note shit will ever get sorted in v1 but i dont care
i cant honestly make music in anything else now it just takes too long
and i also find myself designing plugs in the rack out of lo level component vsts that i can construct later as a single vst
this sort of forward modular thinking just isnt available in any other serious host
so please lets not blame tracktion silly bugs for not wanting to use our overpriced bloated bags of shite we payed too much money for (place name of any audio software you paid too much for and tracktion made redundant-in my case quite a lot of stuff)
LASTLY ANYBODY WITH A SERIOUS BUG SHOULD INFORM JULES
if its a bug he'll take it seriously
if he has the time to fix it he wi'll but i expect he needs to sleep sometimes
love what you have and be preparred to be stunned by whats coming
I aint famous enough to be handin out signatures
