Ok, my latest and most amusing Tracktion bug/flaw/whatever:
Not a single vst loading in my projects!

No crashes like with the earlier reaktor bug I have, but just a project with nothing but exclamtion marks next to all my vst (fx and synth) tracks stating the plug-in couldn't be found. (yes I've done a bloody rescan)

Let's add:
- total incompability with Reaktor 4.1
- no sound from freezed up tracks
- a broken keyfile which means I can't render so I really need the freeze and I'm getting a headache from that bloody noize
- 50% chance of a scrolling cursor
- 24 bit bug
- I have to load a project manually every time I boot, nothing in the active projects folder (I can live with this one)

sorry that I'm all over this board but
I PAID FOR THIS SOFTWARE SO IT SHOULD WORK!

sorry to yell too, but I still didn't get any reply from tech support and I'm counting out my bank account for a copy of logic.

Of course any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. For the record, I'm running the latest version of OSX with 1gb ram on a 1.5Ghz powerbook with NI Komplete, smart electronix and some other plugs.

Its probably something simple. I mean theres other people with your exact set-up that seem to be running well .

please check again if Tracktion still scans the correct path... (maybe it messed up somehow the folder-path)

edti: which would mean that your configuration-file is somehow messed up - maybe a virus after all?

the path is correct. A virus? I only have problems with Tracktion and I've only been on the internet with my mac for a few days. I'll download a scanner asap though.
Tried reinstalling too btw.

Where can i get Jules' e-mail, last time the link on the rawmaterial site didn't work...

tried a couple of things here. (PB 1GHZ 1G ram)
freeze works here, and reaktor as well, (can you believe it....), so I suppose these things have something to do with your system (? )
24bit aiff does not work, but wav does, I can work with that, though it's a bit uncomfortable.
Have you tried repairing permissions? (you probably have)
do your plugins sit in the hd/library etc. folder or in hd/users/you etc folder.
(could make a difference.)
I haven't had the cursor bug in a while...........

plug-ins are where they sit by default i.e. hd/library/audio/plug-ins/vst

not to sure what you mean by repair permissions...

oh and @warp-x had some issues with logic? can't be as bad as cubase tho...

go to the folder /apps/utilities, open disk utility, select your HD and click "repair disk permissions"
maybe tracktion is not "allowed" to acces the plugin-folder, and repairing permissions should solve this. It helped me out on some occasions.....
about logic, as far as I'm concerned of course, it allways sort of stops my musical thinking, because it's way too complex. the best thing about tracktion is that it is so intuitive. (normally, that is )
