Here's another short piece of weirdness. I already don't remember how I did this, from tinkling metal and some wind... The mind continues to boggle...

This is a Metasynth version of the pic above (blown up from 128x128, so it's blurred):

sounding like this (only sines, tuned to penta scale)

maybe I am dumb today, but I can't seem to understand this... what is the request, and how is it different from what we have already?

Mix the resonator output of the Input module with the output signal of the output module, how could I express this more clearly than I already did?Galbanum wrote:jackmazzotti wrote:+1Sampleconstruct wrote:In many cases I wish we had a wet/dry option for the output section, then we could mix in some of the Input and....or...

100% dry would only be inputSampleconstruct wrote:Mix the resonator output of the Input module with the output signal of the output module, how could I express this more clearly than I already did?Galbanum wrote:jackmazzotti wrote:+1Sampleconstruct wrote:In many cases I wish we had a wet/dry option for the output section, then we could mix in some of the Input and....or...

100% wet would be only output
50% would be both

As for now I would copy the KS instance, turn off the output module and mix in the signal to taste. But that only works on fast/big computers because of the CPU load.jackmazzotti wrote:100% dry would only be inputSampleconstruct wrote:Mix the resonator output of the Input module with the output signal of the output module, how could I express this more clearly than I already did?Galbanum wrote:jackmazzotti wrote:+1Sampleconstruct wrote:In many cases I wish we had a wet/dry option for the output section, then we could mix in some of the Input and....or...

Mod Offset can already effectively do this....
If mod Offset for Output is set to 100% for example all pixels have max value thus defeating the effect of output mod. If it is set to 50%, it would be exactly like what you describe... for the 50/50 case... etc

Ahh, sure, I forgot, I have only been using the offset for the Input, never for the Output, silly me - thank's.

Symbolism:
Processing granulated timpani sounds (MachFive - rubber balls bouncing and rolling on skin with pedal glissandi) with Kaleidoscope using 2 custom images and a strange tuning file. Some FX and reverb on 2 busses (Molekular/B2).

It seems we made some progress on this... hopefully we'll have an update this week that fixes this.Galbanum wrote:This is what Denis has been working on most of the week. We hope soon too.
