That's what I'm seeing too. Then it should be available when I get back from school on Thursday. Two days, 16 hours and 25 minutes from now should be around noon. Hopefully the update won't be too big of a download. I'd like to be able to play with it over the weekend, but we have company coming in the evening, and I want to try to catch the new Avengers movie. I need more hours in the day!Caine123 wrote:it shows 2 days and 16 and 56 mins hours for meRobmobius wrote:three days is too long!!!

Well, maybe playing with it over the weekend won't be possible. But I'm definitely buying my upgrade on Thursday.Caine123 wrote:about 20 gb ;D, and i dont expect it to be downloaded at that day sadly....DocAtlas wrote: Hopefully the update won't be too big of a download.
You've answered your own question. The install is the install.Mushy Mushy wrote:Question re Omnisphere 1: Do I need to install all 50GB, or can I pick and choose which sounds I'd like?
I don't have 50GB available right now and I'm only really interested in the vocal stuff.
I do suspect the answer will be a no though
Also, I know this have been done to death but £300 is a hell of a lot of money to throw down without a demo
Yes exactly, and how does sir suggest I do that?wagtunes wrote:That's why you make sure it's something you want BEFORE you buy it.

I sometimes think that today's generation is a little bit spoiled in that regard.
actually, a recent kvr poll found that many of us are of the older persuasion.Mushy Mushy wrote:I think you'll find I am part of the oldskool genwagtunes wrote:I sometimes think that today's generation is a little bit spoiled in that regard. So please don't call me spoilt before you've fully understood the facts
Yeah, there's a challenge. Real tough one that.Mushy Mushy wrote:Yes exactly, and how does sir suggest I do that?wagtunes wrote:That's why you make sure it's something you want BEFORE you buy it.
(Assuming no stores around me have it set up)

The point is, since you are of the old school gen, what did you do before instant download gratification? Hell, what did you do before the Internet?Mushy Mushy wrote:Yes exactly, and how does sir suggest I do that?wagtunes wrote:That's why you make sure it's something you want BEFORE you buy it.

EDIT: To be fair the "spoiled" comment wasn't directly at me, so I'll give the benefit of the doubt
