UPDATE!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP

ok i managed to install omni2 properly with the help of KVR member Stanoli!

now this appears when reopening omni2...

i think i knocked this finally! i deleted the new STEAM.lnk file in Programdata\spectrasonics again and made manually a lnk to it!
now it finds my folder without asking.

there seems to be something wrong with the installer/registry when using a different location than c:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics

---------- is there a way to lock the soundsource and browse through the presets and getting only the fxs etc.? i locked everything but my soundsource was changed

ok it seems you ALWAYS have to run your DAW as an admin? cause if i dont do it then it shows a wrong authentification again....

Wow that is sad that people take advantage of the system.

My view: I do not want a free hand out. I would like to be able to make a living doing what I naturally do.

cain123, is there any particular reason you did not use the program data folder. it seems that your fighting against the grain so to speak. even the cd itself uses that folder as default install. ill tell you how you can fix it, but you wont like my answer. back up the non touched omni 2 version, (i myself did not even install from the first omni 2 folder but copied and pasted the omni2 folder so that if any issues occurred, i would have a clean and untouched copy to go back on.

so, simply reformat your hd, install all your software over again, install omni1, then use the default program data folder, and then install step 1 and 2 from the untouched folder. of course, it may be just a matter of not having to do a reformat at all and that deleting all omni/spectrasonic files on your pc, using the default program data folder, then installing untouched omni 2 install folder. try that.

Omnisphere 2 is here! (yes, it's really here!)
