I will try to tighten it up, if I can, but I'm usually too entertained by the wickedness one can achieve with certain concepts, if parameters are not restricted.
My original desire remains to somehow get a really satisfying reverb mux going, but I'm afraid that it might need deeper access than presently available. I thought about recreating freeverb in a modular form, hahaha, but somehow that seems ambitious.
To me this is about placing sounds in space, creating a strong staging that sounds solid. One of the easiest ways to achieve that, though, may be via sound convolution and impulse response samples. I looked into how this could be programmed and it seems fairly trivial, actually, in itself. I'm just amazed that it can be as fast as it is, looking at the potential amount of data it has to buffer and go through, depending on your impulse response sample.
I'm sure it's already on the wishlist, though!
